The following is a list of counties in Montana and the specific requirements/rules each county has for this special election. LET’S WIN THIS THING!!

LATE REGISTRATION HAS BEGUN

If you are not registered to vote you can go to your county election office and register any day (normal hours) including on election day (May 25th) until closing (which is 8:00 in most locations). See below for hours for each county.

ABSENTEE VOTING

If you voted absentee in the last election (November) you are automatically receiving an absentee ballot. If you moved, changed your name etc.. please go to your local election office and make corrections. You can also vote at that time if you wish. You can check your voting status at: https://app.mt.gov/voterinfo

Most, if not all counties are mailing absentee ballots out May 1st.

IF YOU MOVED

The post office can not forward a voting ballot.

If you have moved or changed your name since the last election you must go to the courthouse and update your information. You can vote at that time as well.

IF YOU ARE NOT REGISTERED TO VOTE

You can go to your county election office and register any day including on Election Day until closing (which is 8:00 in most locations). You can also ask for an absentee ballot and vote at that time.

If you are voting at the polls on Election Day you will be required to show some form of identification: This can be a driver’s license; Costco card; Utility Bill
