The Liberty Ladies ride again! Come show Livingston what a bunch of progressives there are in our area. This is a fun tradition for Montana Women For and a popular attraction for the parade goers. We’ll have a float, banners, flags, a soundtrack of 60’s protest songs, Statue of Liberty costumes and sashes for each Lady Liberty announcing an issue that she is “for” We’ll gather at Bonnie’s house beginning at noon to don costumes and plan the march, then walk over to the High School for the parade staging at 2 pm. Everyone is welcome! If you’d like to join us, please call 223-5882 or email Margarita at firstname.lastname@example.org for more instructions. If you have a costume from past parades, please bring it. If you don’t, we’ll have one for you.
PAN is hosting a panel/ discussion on the Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) program. We’ll have a wide variety of speakers from the area to speak about energy freedom and the ways we can achieve energy freedom through PACE.
We plan to host panels in Belgrade Manhattan, Three Forks and W. Yellowstone before the end of the year.
A little about PACE….
PACE (Property Assessed Clean Energy) is a simple and effective way to finance energy efficiency, renewable energy, and water conservation upgrades to buildings. PACE can pay for new heating and cooling systems, lighting improvements, solar panels, water pumps, insulation, and more for almost any property – homes, commercial, industrial, non-profit, and agricultural.
Property owners across the US are using PACE because it lowers utility bills and may make their buildings more valuable. PACE pays for 100% of a project’s costs and is repaid for up to 20 years with an assessment added to the property’s tax bill. PACE financing may stay with the building upon sale and is easy to share with tenants. State and local governments sponsor PACE financing to create jobs, promote economic development, and protect the environment.
